Isle of Man

The Isle of Man, a British Crown Dependency and part of the Commonwealth, is entirely self-governing. Whilst geographically forming part of the British Isles, it is neither part of the United Kingdom nor a member of the European Union. The Island is located between England, Wales and Ireland and boasts an affluent business centre, rated AAA by Standard and Poors and Moody's. As an associate member of the European Union it is permitted access to markets of member states without too much inconvenience.

The Isle of Man has its own Parliament, which has been in existence for in excess of 1,000 years and is reputed to be one of the longest continuous parliaments in Europe.

The Isle of Man is a politically stable jurisdiction, with a mature legal system and highly developed commercial and financial sectors.
